A board-certified Optometrist, Divya Bhandari, OD received her undergraduate degree from the University of Calgary in Canada and her optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. She has been practicing comprehensive optometry in the Washington, DC area for almost 20 years.
Her optometry experience includes specialty contacts such as scleral lenses and multifocals, as well as ocular disease and surgical co-management. She is excited to join Washington Eye Physicians and Surgeons and provide the best in quality eye care for our patients.
Dr. Bhandari enjoys the outdoors by hiking and biking with her two teenage kids and husband, and she is passionate about staying active. She also believes in giving back to the community and strives to volunteer in various activities organized by non-profit organizations.
