The descent of tissue can also lead to facial wrinkles (nasolabial folds, lower eyelid bags etc.). There are several tools to combat the aging process and rejuvenate the face. While surgical options exist to elevate facial tissue, a minimally invasive treatment option may work as well. Dermal fillers (Restylane®, Juvederm®, Radiesse®, Sculptra®) replace volume in the areas of tissue loss, can lead to tissue elevation and produce a rejuvenated face. There are many areas that dermal fillers or wrinkle fillers may be injected to reverse the aging process. All filler injections at The Washington Eye Laser & Cosmetic Center are performed by physicians. With the use of an injection cannula as opposed to a needle, there is minimal to no pain with our injection technique. Injecting into the tear trough requires excellent technique and the intimate knowledge of the surrounding anatomy that our oculoplastic and cosmetic surgeons possess.
The Cosmetic Center in our Chevy Chase, Maryland office can accommodate walk-in visits for Botox® and/or dermal filler injections including Restylane®, Juvederm®, Radiesse®, Sculptra®.
